Quick Facts
Location:
I currently live in Brisbane, Australia (that’s me without the glasses on)

Australia

Book Genres:
Fantasy/SciFi, Australian Literature/General Literature, General Fiction and Art.
Music Preferences:
A little bit of everything. Most mostly indie/alternative pop rock. If any of those classfications can be lumped together. I also have a terrible preference for Electronica and admit that yes, I am a massive James Blunt fan.
Childhood:
Youngest of three children, 19 years difference between me and my closest sibling. Spent the majority of the time rewriting fairytales before moving into fanfiction. Now I write my own stuff, both as a freelance writer and a novelist.
In ten years time…
I will be living in London, working on hopefully my third or fourth book, driving my black BMW and eating lots of red jellybeans. Only the high life for me.

About This Blog
So this is my second attempt at blogging after closing down for a month to investigate the real world. Apparently nothing else exists but sleazy old men, over organized university students who make me feel inadequate as a human being, and people that masquerade as friends until their paint wears off and they turn into aliens. Oh and super mega hot women that make you feel like a species of pond scum that not even real gross pond scum like.

So I hightailed it out of reality and back into cyberspace! And it feels good to be back writing!

Forgive me now for boring posts about my life and my novels. This blog serves as a creative outlet for all trouble in my mind. I hope you find it somewhat entertaining at some point.

About Me

My name is Erin, I am 20 years old and a recovering tortured writer. I study Creative Writing and Advertising at QUT and I don’t believe in fairytales, yet I let my characters live freely in my head. I have aspirations to do a lot of things with my life, but at this point, I am focusing on getting my first novel Amazing Things ready for some sort of publication.

I am cynical and neurotic, but also a romantic. I like writing in many of its forms and have dabbled in many genres. I also love advertising and graphic design and upon finishing my bachelors in Creative Writing and Advertising I plan to do a Masters in creative Advertising. Until that time, I work at a bookshop on the weekends and spend my free time watching British TV shows, wracking my massive credit card bills and enjoying life as a university student (Ie. I sleep alot and procrastinate even more).
